Lance Corporal Greenawalt was forward deployed with 3rd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment. His duties included convoy operations in some of the most hostile areas of Al Anbar province in Iraq. On behalf of the detachment and all local Marines, Lance Corporal Greenawalt was presented with a card to recognize and honor his courageous and faithful service to Corps and Country.
