The Northern Co. auxiliary unit was installed Dec. 7th by Merveena Wing, the Rocky Mt. National Auxiliary V.P. We are proud of our unit, and hope to grow in numbers the up-coming year! Our goal is to be as helpful to the Marine Corps League as possible, and serve the community. Nancy Dimick
The “Official Report” from December Newsletter: The Northern Colorado Auxiliary Unit met Tuesday, December 7th. Those attending were: Nancy Dimick, Debbie Pierson, Judi Martinez, Margaret Thornburg, Heather Ivers, Virginia Russell and our national V.P. for the Rocky Mt. division, Merveena Wing. We attended the Marine Corps League meeting and were installed by Merveena afterwards. Heather Ivers is a new member brought in by Ken Dimick. The Northern Colorado Detachment has paid her membership dues. Our meeting was brief. We discussed our involvement in Toys-for-Tots and Margaret Thornburg sending notes to the families of fallen Marines in Colorado. We commend Debbie and Margaret for initiating this program. Our checking account should be open soon so we can deposit those checks. It has been more complicated than we thought. We will have a presentation by Debbie Andersen, the secretary and judge advocate, at our January meeting. Respectfully submitted, Nancy Dimick
